The Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (TF HTAP) is an
international scientific cooperative effort
to improve the understanding of the international transport of air
pollution across the Northern Hemisphere.
In 2010, TF HTAP produced a first comprehensive assessment report
(available under www.htap.org <
http://www.htap.org>).
The ongoing HTAP Phase 2 (HTAP2) exercise, which includes coupled
regional-global modelling,
is designed to provide more detailed intercontinental source-receptor
calculations,
as well as higher resolution estimates of the impacts on health,
vegetation and climate.
