Thanks! I didn't notice that subtlety in the definition.

Btw. Looking at the wikipedia page on "bearing", it seems that (assuming
an absolute bearing) we are left with the formal question whether it is
a bearing measured with respect to real north, magnetic north or grid
north. I can live with this level of uncertainty.
