[CF-metadata] Add new integer types to CF?

I created a ticket for new integer types in CF:

This is the minimal implementation suggested by
Dave Allured that defers the related issues of
workarounds for "unsigned" and when/where integer
types are interchangeable.

I encourage those interested in the narrower
issue of adding new integer types to continue
that discussion on the CF trac ticket above.
