[CF-metadata] New standard name for geostrophic ocean velocities

Hi Nan,

These are the wave periods and wave direction, energy and steepness names that were proposed last year. My two earlier messages give the latest state of play.

The "CF proposal page" means the status page produced by the editor I use for keeping track of all standard names: http://cfeditor.ceda.ac.uk/proposals/1. This is linked from the standard name and discussion pages on the CF website. You can apply various filters to just see the names you are interested in.

Best wishes,
Alison
