Nice summary, Alison.
Apologies for having not been engaged in the discussion, and please
ignore this email if a discussion of the following points has already
taken place:
1) atmosphere_stability_total_totals_index . Is the first "total"
really necessary? Is there such thing as a non-total "totals index"?
2) In the following names, is there an expectation that
"harmonic_period" will always be provided along with the phase and
amplitude? If not, then the period should probably be part of the phase
and amplitude standard names.
