[CF-metadata] CF compliant Graphics?

From: Gross, Tom <grosst>

I've gone to all the trouble of creating CF compliant netcdf files. I
assume that this is to allow graphics programs and other software to
easily use the included metadata. What are such packages? Is there a
fancier version of the Matlab mexcdf toolbox which does tricks like
overloading the matlab datenum functions to use the attributes of CF
time units? Datetick(nc{'time'}) or just Datetick(nc) ?

  Thanks,
