Hi,
I usually see time variables declared as below:
int Time(Time) ;
Time:long_name = "time of measurement" ;
Time:standard_name = "time" ;
Time:units = "seconds since 2007-11-07 17:54:00 +0000" ;
According to the FAQ, units must be compatible with (that is,
convertible to) the canonical units of the standard name.
But in the example, "seconds since 2007-11-07 17:54:00 +0000" cannot be
converted into "seconds". (according to udunits)
Could a variable with 'time' as its standard name have a unit of the
form 'time-unit since timestamp' ?
If the answer is 'no', is there another standard name that should be used ?
