neither am I. However -- we need a datetime string format for the
"units since datetime" approach currently used, so better defining the
datetime string format for CF is a really good idea anyway.
And I agree -- we need to define a standard, not reference or write a library.
I do wish we could simply use a subset of ISO -- but it sounds like
the default for an unspecified timezone is different than the
currently-in-use CF. Darn.
