Thanks for the update. The Dobson Unit is also commonly defined as (from
Wikipedia):
"One Dobson unit refers to a layer of gas that would be 10 ?m thick
under standard temperature and pressure

That would match better the variable name. So the unit description
should maybe be adapted...
