Of course, we could support both approaches in CF. If you already have a need
for the detailed approach i.e. use cases exist now for data that you would like
to put into CF, we could consider introducing both at the same time. Otherwise,
we could add the detailed approach later when it is definitely needed. We try
to keep possible extensions in mind, but in general refrain from extending CF
until there is a definite and common need, mainly so that it doesn't get more
complicated than necessary!
