Yes, I was confused by this for a while this morning too, because I
haven't coded the CF Checker to allow a modifier called "count" either.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming that the term "count"
refers to the modifier called "|number_of_observations".|
When I coded the checks on standard_name modifier I overlooked the fact
that Appendix C states the units should be 1.
I'll fix this in the checker shortly. As Jonathan has suggested this
should be added to the Conformance Document as this is formally
what the CF Checker is based on.
