[CF-metadata] clarification of sound_intensity_level_in_water

Hi,

I'm new to both netcdf and CF. I'm trying to make a netcdf data product for our RDI adcps. I noticed that there is an existing standard name for sound_intensity_level_in_air, and I figure this would apply to the intensity returned from the adcp. I have corrected for two-way beam spreading (2*20*log10), and figured a comment attribute would suffice to explain that.

Is that a valid interpretation of this standard name, or should I leave it uncorrected for beam spreading?

By the way, I welcome sample cdls from anyone who's made cf-compliant netcdfs for rdi adcps.

Thanks,
