Following the email from Stephen, I would also like to add some names to the list for consideration. These are fields which have been produced using the CHIME coupled climate model as part of the UK THC MIP project:-

I discussed these names with Jonathan Gregory a while ago, and from looking at the names suggested below, there is obviously a distinction between the use of 'eastward_' and '_x_', related to the grid used by the model.
