Dear Alison,
I have forwarded your email listing the CF names on aerosol and
chemistry planned to be accepted to interesting colleagues in the
chemistry/aerosol community and there were two comments so far:
mole_fraction_of_mercury_in_air
It was not clear if this refers to total mercury or particulate or gas,
please remove this name from the list, it needs to be further discussed.
mole_fraction_of_anthropogenic_non_methane_volatile_organic_compounds_in_air
mole_fraction_of_biogenic_non_methane_volatile_organic_compounds_in_air
Please remove these two names from the list, the distinction between
anthropogenic and biogenic NMVC is only valid for the HTAP experiments,
but a clear distinction is usually not possible. I would suggest to
include mole_fraction_of_non_methane_volatile_organic_compounds_in_air,
but this probably needs to be discussed further.
