with Martina's help I subscribed to the mailing list.
The first time it doesn't work.
My e-mail was transmitted to
cf-metadata-bounces at cgd.ucar.edu
with the answer:

But there was no review ?
1) cell metrics
That is not so important for us. But is would be nice to have
a no or yes. We have data sets with grid information and we have
to classifiy them as CF or not.
