we propose new standard_names for serveral variables concerning wave
periods deduced from the one dimensional frequency wave spectrum:
for the periods at the peak of the spectrum:
sea_surface_wave_peak_period;s
sea_surface_wind_wave_peak_period;s
sea_surface_swell_wave_peak_period;s
for the periods from the moment of order -1:
sea_surface_wave_mean_period;s
sea_surface_wind_wave_mean_period;s
sea_surface_swell_wave_mean_period;s
for the periods from the moment of order 1:
sea_surface_wave_tm1_period;s
sea_surface_wind_wave_tm1_period;s
sea_surface_swell_wave_tm1_period;s
for the periods from the moment of order 2:
sea_surface_wave_tm2_period;s
sea_surface_wind_tm2_peak_period;s
sea_surface_swell_tm2_peak_period;s
and additionally 3 standard_names for the directional spread deduced from
the two dimensional direction-frequency spectrum:
sea_surface_wave_directional spread; degree
sea_surface_wind_wave_directional spread; degree
sea_surface_swell_wave_directional spread; degree
