[CF-metadata] area_fraction

Not sure I followed this thread, but maybe "land_cover" should be
generalized to cover ocean characteristics (e.g., sea ice ... is this
the only possibility?), and land_cover="lake" sounds a bit odd.

Again, maybe this is irrelevant to the thread.
