[CF-metadata] One name for two variables in the standard name table

          Hi all,

I note that in the standard name table there is a variable named
"ocean_mixed_layer_thickness".
In the Mersea project (www.mersea.eu.org, oceanographic part of GODAE),
we have two variables corresponding to this name :
Temperature ocean_mixed_layer_thickness and
Density ocean_mixed_layer_thickness.

Is there another name which precise the two variables ?

If not, is it possible to create them, for example
"ocean_mixed_layer_thickness_temperature" and
"ocean_mixed_layer_thickness_density" ?
