Yes. At present the CF standard is written strictly for individual files. We
don't have any statement that the data could be spread over several files,
although some applications may already be doing this. It has been argued that
such generalisations are rather dependent on software implementations. Can we
nonetheless say anything in the standard about it, do you (or anyone) think?
