[CF-metadata] What do models assume for the shape of the Earth?

As I default I assume you would use the most realistic value, but I'm not sure
how this is defined, given non-sphericity! What is your value? A value that
would give the right volume using 4/3 pi r^3 might be a possible choice, but
no doubt there are other equally valid options. Jonathan
