Dear all,
After much discussion the best agreement we can come up with for a standard
name for the instrument-measured quantity of radial velocity is:
'radial_velocity_of_scatterers_away_from_instrument' (m s^-1)
This defines the velocity in terms of how it is being measured (instrument),
what it being measured (scatterers) and the direction it is travelling
(away_from). This suits the purposes of those working with it.
Can this be added to the list (please ;-).
