[CF-metadata] cartesian_x_coordinate

Hi Juerg,

We identify the cartesian axes used in projection mappings with the
standard names projection_x_coordinate and projection_y_coordinate. These
names have associated units of meters. Perhaps these names would suit your
purpose?
